Irish Cancer Society Relay For Life To Begin In Ennis

The annual Relay for Life fundraiser in Ennis is getting underway this afternoon.

The 24-hour community celebration, which begins at 2pm, honours all those who are affected by cancer, as well as helping to raise much-needed funds for the Irish Cancer Society.

It’ll see 23 teams made up of survivors, fighters, families and friends commit to at least one member walking around the track at Tim Smyth Park in the county town for the full 24 hours.
