Council Will Do Everything Possible To Address Homelessness – CEO

The CEO of Clare County Council insists they will do everything in their power to help alleviate housing and homelessness issues in this county.

It comes as the authority’s budget for 2020 has revealed that a 16-bedroomed facility has been acquired in Ennis for use as emergency accommodation, as part of efforts to reduce homelessness.

It will be used to house clients of the Clare Homeless Action Team and will reduce the requirement to place homeless people in hotels and B&Bs.
