Challenges Ahead Of Roll Out Of Abortion Services – Ennis GP

The Ennis-based Medical Director of the Irish College of GPs is reassuring that there will be enough medical practitioners available to provide abortion services, once they’re rolled out.

The ICGP carried out an online consultation during August and September, which found that almost two-thirds of GPs who responded, won’t personally provide abortion services to patients.

32% said that they would provide the service and Dr Tony Cox believes that will be sufficient.
