An Ennis Councillor wants to see promotional signs erected on the M18 motorway to lure people into Ireland’s friendliest town.
Pat Daly believes the county town isn’t feeling the benefit of the title bestowed on it by Retail Excellence just over a year ago.
It’s the only town in the region to receive the honour and comes on top of the reputation built up by the hosting of Fleadh Ceoil na hÉireann and Fleadh na Mumhan in recent years.
