Call For ‘Rural Uber’ Restrictions To Be Lightened

There are calls in Clare for the legal restrictions for a ‘rural Uber’ type service to be loosened in Ireland.

The local authority is to write to the Transport Minister outlining this concern, pointing to the fact that in other European countries, private vehicles owners can operate as Uber drivers in their spare time.
