Call For Number Of Defibrillators In Ennis To Increase

An Ennis Councillor is calling for the number of defibrillators in the county town to be increased.

A new committee has been established made up of the Civil Defence, HSE and the Clare Branch of the Irish Red Cross to be in charge of defibrillators in Ennis.

It follows the recent granting of €5,000 for the purchase of two of the machines and the associated training, to ensure that Ennis is covered by qualified first responders.
