Clare County Council is being urged to hit the ground running next month in getting work underway to build public toilets in Kilkee.
The local authority has confirmed that as things stand, the plan is to get construction underway on the facility for the 2020 bathing season.
While extended toilet facilities are to be constructed in Lahinch in time for this year, it will be summer of next year before they’re ready to go in Kilkee.
