Call For Funding To Bring Lahinch Up To Scratch Ahead Of Irish Open 2019

It’s claimed it’s vital that a pot of money is set aside by Clare County Council to ensure that Lahinch is in shipshape for the Irish Open next year.

Businesses there are requesting a public meeting with the local authority after the summer break so that planning can begin in earnest.

Lahinch Fine Gael Councillor Bill Slattery is calling for a paint scheme to be rolled out to give the village a facelift, as well as a gardening scheme and infrastructural work in car parts and laneways.
