Calls are being made for a working group to be set up to market the Clare Technology Park in Ennis as a site for major foreign direct investment.
The 35-acre park, which is located on the Gort Road and was formerly known as Ennis Information Age Park, was opened over a decade ago, with the potential to create thousands of jobs.
Now, Shannon Group, Clare County Council and local businesses are being called on to come together and create a working group with the intention of attracting major employers to Ennis.
