Cahercalla Hospice has confirmed its charity shop in Ennis will not re-open in the New Year.
The shop will close it’s doors for good on December 22nd, with Management at the hospice blaming what they call a regrettable decision on the increasing costs associated with running it.
It sells donated items from members of the public and uses the funds raised to help run the hospice.

Only as recently as October, Cahercalla had put out a call for volunteers to help in the shop’s sorting centre.
