There’s been a broad welcome to news that up to 180 jobs have been saved at a Shannon based aircraft maintenance company.
The positions at Air Atlanta Aero Engineering (AAAE) were secured after a buy out by Moscow-based airline and aircraft maintenance company Transaero and will now operate as Transaero Engineering Ireland.
Its understand an official announcement is imminent and that the company has already started a recruitment campaign for additional aircraft engineers.
