An Irish-owned property company has announced that it’s to purchase the Westpark business campus in Shannon for in excess of €50m.
The 40-acre business campus, established in 2005, is home to some 50 companies and 2,000 employees, and was established and developed by Brian & Bridget O’Connell of Westpark Shannon Limited.
The business park also has planning permission in place to more than double its available office space, with the green light already given for a further 300,000 square foot of tailored offices to be developed.

Westpark is home to the likes of GECAS, Enterprise Ireland, Pepper and DHL and is located next to Shannon Airport.
