Finalists announced for Clare Business Excellence Awards 2018

The finalists for Clare Business Excellence Awards 2018 have been announced and on November 15th at a Gala Awards Dinner at Treacy’s West County Hotel, Ennis, the winners will be revealed.

Devised and organised by Ennis Chamber of Commerce with Clare County Council on board as the main awards sponsor, entries to this year’s Clare Business Excellence Awards were up by over 20 percent on last year, thanks in no small part to the Award’s media partner Clare FM. This means that the 9th Clare Business Excellence Awards are more competitive than ever.

The finalists are drawn from right across the county, featuring businesses from Quin, Kilkishen, Carron, Corofin, Clarecastle, Ballyvaughan, Lissycasey, Kirush, Doonbeg, Spanish Point, Newmarket-on-Fergus, Shannon and Ennis.

Diarmuid McMahon, President of Ennis Chamber, organisers of the annual Clare Business Excellence Awards said, “The judges at Spotcheck Northern Ireland were very impressed by the quality and standard of entries and that makes us feel very proud of the innovation, professionalism and quality of product and service of businesses operating in County Clare.”

Mayor of Clare Cllr. Michael Begley added, “Entering these awards helps businesses examine what they are doing and the process can help them to improve. I congratulate all of the businesses who entered this year’s Clare Business Excellence Awards and I wish the finalists well at the Awards ceremony on November 15th.”

Diarmuid McMahon took the opportunity to thank all of the event sponsors, without whom the Awards would not happen. “We are particularly delighted to have Clare County Council on board this year as the overall sponsor of Clare Business Excellence Awards.”
