Clare bargain hunters are being urged to shop local today as Black Friday mayhem takes hold.
The American phenomenon has swept across Ireland in recent years, with increasing pressure on local retailers to put deals on, to attract customers in.
This year, a special effort is being made in Clare to encourage people to spend their money locally, rather than shop online with major retailers.
