New figures have revealed that Clare is one of the worst-hit counties in the country when it comes to a decline in new car sales.
Data compiled by the Society of the Irish Motor Industry shows that there’s been an almost 17% drop in the number of new vehicles sold here in September, compared to the same month last year.
Only counties Carlow, Leitrim and Offaly have experienced a greater decline last month, while nationally, there’s been a 7.5% decrease in sales so far this year.
