Clare experienced one of the worst rates of decline in new car sales across 2019.
Data compiled by the Society of the Irish Motor Industry reveals that there were 2,245 new vehicles sold in Clare last year, an almost 16% decrease on the previous year.
Only Carlow, Kildare, Leitrim and Offaly experienced a greater decline in that time, while the national rate of decrease was less than 7% in 2019.
