Car sales in Clare fell by almost 12 per cent in 2020.
New data from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry shows 1,981 new cars were registered here last year, compared with 2,245 back in 2019.
The fall of sales here is less than half that of the average drop nationally, which has seen a decline in car registrations of 25 percent in the past twelve months.
