The Burren Set To Benefit From Tourism Fund

The Burren National Park is set to Benefit from a 500 thousand euro fund aimed at boosting tourism potential.

A new partnership between Fáilte Ireland and the National Parks and Wildlife Services hopes to grow tourism revenues in rural areas where the parks are located, while increasing Ireland’s appeal as a holiday destination.

Fáilte Ireland will be investing capital funding of half a million euro to kick-start the initiative, with the initial funding focussing on the five National Parks and Nature Reserves along the Wild Atlantic Way, including the Burren.
