Britain’s Terror Threat Raised To Highest Level

Britain’s terror threat level has been raised to its highest point amid fears another attack may be ‘imminent’.

Theresa May made the announcement as investigations continue into the suicide bombing in Manchester. More victims have been named overnight while concern is growing for those who are still missing.

Manchester defied fear last night with 25-thousand turning out for a vigil in memory of the 22 killed in Monday’s bombing.

But over the coming days the streets of Britain will be very different. Prime Minister May confirmed that the terror threat level has been raised to critical, meaning another attack could be imminent.

The decision was made amid fears 22-year-old bomber Salman Abedi from Manchester may not have worked alone.

Meanwhile, more victims have been named overnight. 15-year-old Olivia Campbell and 32-year-old Kelly Brewster were confirmed dead by their families.

Children as young as 14 remain missing.
