Bristol And Liverpool Routes Taking Off At Shannon For First Time Since 2012

Shannon Airport’s flights to Bristol and Liverpool are taking off once again after a six-year absence.

The first flights to both cities have already begun, with a twice-weekly Bristol service now operating as well as flights to Liverpool three times a week.

They’d been cut in 2012 with the cost of operating them blamed at the time.

The restoration of the routes, as well as an expansion to the Shannon to Manchester services, was announced earlier this year.

It brings an extra 60,000 seats to Shannon Airport this summer and means the MidWest facility operates 150 weekly departures.
