Gardaí say a swan who was causing traffic disruption on one of the main roads into Ennis this morning has been removed from the scene.
Emergency services were alerted, after concerns were raised over the swan walking on the Tulla Road.
Clare SPCA were notified, and are currently helping the bird to safety.

The swan had held up motorists for a time, no doubt causing some to ‘spit feathers’, but Gardaí say traffic has since returned to normal.
