Body found in search for missing Irish Soccer Fan

The Department of Foreign Affairs say it will be this evening before a body recovered from a river in Poland during the search for a missing Irish Soccer fan, can be identified.

Divers located the body in the river which runs through the city of Bit Gosh earlier today.

21 year old engineering student James Nolan from Wicklow was last seen in the early hours of Sunday in the Polish city which is about 130km north-east of Poznan.

The 21 year old  who had travelled to Poland in a camper van to see Ireland play in Euro 2012 became separated from his friends after a night out in Bit Gosh.

Mr Nolan's family are currently en route to Poland.
