The Bishop of Killaloe is asking the people of Clare to remember those who cannot be with us this Christmas, either through bereavement or emigration.
Fintan Monahan has issued a special message to Clare FM listeners to mark Christmas Day.
Bishop Monahan is also asking everyone to make a particular effort to welcome those coming to this county to seek asylum from overseas with open arms, in his extended Christmas blessing:
The Church of Ireland’s Bishop of Limerick and Killaloe is asking the people of Clare to think about those who are less fortunate than them this Christmas.
Bishop Kenneth Kearon’s message comes in his annual blessing to Clare FM listeners.
He says issues like homelessness and poverty, that were present 2,000 years ago at the birth of Christ, remain with us today:
