Beckman Coulter says it is committed to it's operations in Clare.
The company has confirmed to Clare FM that it is to close its Glaway plant where 140 people are currently employed.

Up to 80 of those will be transfered its O'Callaghan's Mills base with a loss of the remaining 60 from it's factory in Galway.
Separately, 150 new jobs have been announced for Waterford.
The Taoiseach and the Minister for Jobs have announced plans for the new West Pharmaceutical plant in the city.
