The Banner was the sunniest part of Ireland last month.
Met Eireann has revealed that its weather station at Shannon Airport recorded 124 hours of sunshine in September, slightly more than is typically the case.
Despite this, weather wasn’t the best here last month, as it was both colder and more wet than usual.
