Ballyvaughan GP Says New Primary Care Plans Require Significant Funding

A Ballyvaughan GP says new plans which would allow for the transformation of primary care would require a significant increase in funding.

14 organisations representing doctors and vested interest groups are launching Ireland's first Primary Care Partnership document today in which they outline how the system should serve patients.

They're looking for an investment of 2.5 billion euro in primary care over the next 5 years.
