Ian Bailey has lost all but one of his grounds of appeal against a failed legal action against An Garda Síochána and the State.

It arose from his unsuccessful attempt to sue for what he claimed was a conspiracy to frame him for the 1996 murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier.

Most of his case wasn’t put to a jury because the judge decided the claims weren’t lodged within the six-year time limit.
