Forsa Calls On Government To Realign Shannon Airport With Dublin & Cork

The Forsa trade union is calling on the government to begin examining the possibility of realigning Shannon Airport with Dublin and Cork.

A report published by the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Transport has recommended the re-establishment of a State Airports Authority, bringing the three airports under the umbrella of a parent state company.

The union has previously called for Shannon to be put back under the management of the Dublin Airport Authority, something that hasn’t been ruled out by the Transport Minister.
