Duty Free Shopping Could Return For UK-Bound Passengers

Duty free shopping could be re-introduced for passengers flying between Shannon Airport and the UK.

The Irish Independent reports that the government is considering a proposal to fast-track the re-introduction of Duty Free shopping from January 1st on routes between Ireland and Britain to help airports whose incomes have been badly hit by the COVID crisis.

Such a move would allow passengers to purchase discounted alcohol and tobacco products, as well as other goods.
