Aer Lingus Says Returning Shannon-Heathrow Flight ‘Still Not Viable’

Aer Lingus says it’s not yet in a position to confirm when it will return flights to Shannon.

Despite continuing services from Cork and Dublin, the former flag carrier has not flown from Shannon since the beginning of the pandemic, meaning services including the vital Heathrow link have been grounded.

Aer Lingus says this was purely a commercial decision, because it deemed that the flight would not be viable.
