Clare County Council is being called on to manage the ‘difficult relationship’ between the Traveller and settled communities.
It comes as it’s been revealed there are five illegal Traveller encampments in this county – three of which are around the county town.
Concern has been raised for both the safety of those living in these facilities near busy roads, as well as the impact on the surrounding area.
