The Army Bomb Squad have made safe a device found outside Limerick City.
The alarm was raised last night after the suspicious device was discovered on land near the Patrickswell to Crecora road.

The road was closed and Gardaí sealed off the area to prevent members of the public from being harmed.
There's no reports of injuries and defence forces personnel made safe the device without the need for a controlled explosion.
