Ardnacrusha Opens To Public To Celebrate 90th Anniversary

The gates of East Clare’s Power Plant are being opened to the public as part of Ardnacrusha’s 90 birthday celebrations.

Groups of school children are among the first visitors this week, following a significant investment by the ESB to prepare the facility for tourists.

It follows a motion put forward to Clare County Council by Independent Sixmilebridge Councillor PJ Ryan.
