Homes and businesses in the Miltown Malbay area are without water again today, following another burst water main in the locality.
The areas affected include Milltown Malbay, Annagh, Poulawillin, Knockloskeraun, Spanish Point, Rineen, Kilfarboy, Ballyvaskin, Toureen, Ballard and surrounding areas.
Irish Water says works to address the issue are due to be completed by 6 o’clock this evening, although it may take a further 2 to 3 hours for supply to be fully restored to all properties.

Residents have expressed frustration at the continued water outages in the locality, and it will be next year before replacement works are carried out.
