Almost €7 Million In Funding For Clare Under Rural Regeneration Scheme

The government has announced close on seven million euro in funding for five tourism-related projects in Clare.

The largest amount of €2.86 million will fund building works in Lahinch Town and at Lahinch Seaworld, while other works are to be carried out at Loop Head Lighthouse and at the Vandaleur Gardens in Kilrush.

Another €1.4 million will be spent on design and consultation works on the Holy Island project in East Clare, as well as a new Doolin Masterplan.

The funding has been announced as part of a €62 million Rural Regeneration Fund and Clare Fine Gael Junior Minister Pat Breen believes it’s a welcome boost for Clare.
