Almost 1500 homes in the North and West Clare areas are without power this evening.
The ESB says 879 households are experiencing disruption to power supply around Ennistymon due to a fault, with supply expected to be restored by 11:15pm.
A number of areas in Kilkee are also experiencing a loss of power tonight.

A fault is affecting about 230 homes at Circular Road, with over 100 homes in nearby Victoria Park also affected.
A further 200 houses in Castle Field are also without power.
Update – 11:30 p.m.
At this point, no power supply issues are reported in the Kilkee area. 189 homes are without power near Lisdoonvarna, but the issues there are expected to be fixed tonight.
