The national president of the Irish Farmers Association is due to attend an executive meeting of the Clare branch in Ennis this evening.
Joe Healy will meet with grassroots members of the organisation in this county, as concerns grow about the ongoing issue surrounding the price of beef.
Efforts are continuing to resolve the dispute, which has seen protests near almost a dozen factories enter their second week.
