Entire Country Will Feel The Loss Of Farming Unless Something Is Done – ICMSA

The Clare Chair of the ICMSA insists the entire country, and not just farmers, will feel the loss of the industry, if something drastic isn’t done.

It follows this week’s protest by beef farmers at a cabinet meeting in Cork, where the government was told the sector has been hit with losses of €101 million.

Since last year, prices at the marts have plummeted with Brexit uncertainty being blamed for the decline.
