Creed Urged To Intervene As Meat Plants Protests Continue

The Mayor of Clare says the Agriculture Minister must address what he’s described as the “worsening” beef crisis.

A series of nationwide rolling protests are continuing outside of meat processing plants nationwide, and Councillor Cathal Crowe says he feels farmers are being figuratively left on their knees.

The Fianna Fáil General Election candidate is accusing Minister Michael Creed of sitting back and watching from the sidelines, although the Minister insists he cannot legally intervene.
