Clare Beef Plan Chair Warns People To Stock Up On Meat Before It Runs Out

The Clare Chair of the Beef Plan Movement is warning the people of Clare to stock up on meat and be prepared for stocks to drop in shops.

It comes as a fresh round of talks is to be convened on Monday by the Agriculture Minister, aimed at breaking the ongoing deadlock between farmers and Meat Industry Ireland.

Protests are continuing at a number of meat processing plants around the country as the controversy surrounding the price of beef continues, which has led a number of farmers to stop putting their animals into the supply chain.
