A boost in government funding is being welcomed by those behind Clare’s agricultural shows.
€600,000 has been granted to around 120 shows due to take place next year, with eight in Clare receiving grants of around €6,000 each.
The recipients in this county are Clarecastle, Ennistymon, Kildysart, Mullagh, Newmarket-on-Fergus, the Scarriff Show Society, the South East Clare Show and the North West Clare Agri Show.
