Aer Lingus Decision To Layoff Shannon Staff “Premature”

Forsa claims the decision by Aer Lingus to lay off staff at Shannon Airport was premature.

Staff at the midwest facility were yesterday told by video message, that they are being let go until the end of August, as the airline is not currently operating flights from the Airport.

Aer Lingus says it’s communicating with staff and that it needs to “align working hours and pay with the amount of work that needs to be done.”
