Action Needed Now To Prevent Coastal Flooding

The author of a new report which outlines the damage that could be caused here by coastal flooding has warned that Ireland needs to take action sooner rather than later.

The report from Gamma Location Intelligence shows that by 2050, more than 7,000 homes and 1,300 businesses in Clare will be at risk of Coastal Flooding as a result of climate change.

It’s predicted the cost to the county could be as high as 265 million euro.
