Clare Gardai have issued 76 COVID related fines in the past two weeks.
It brings the total number of fines handed out in this county to date for breaching public health restrictions to more than 400.
Only 6 of the country’s 27 other Garda divisions has recorded a lower number of fines to date.

More than 19,000 individuals have been fined by members of An Garda Siochana since the punishment was introduced back in February – the vast majority of which relate to leaving home without a reasonable excuse.
