7 Arrests Following Tipperary Burglary

Gardai are questioning seven men arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Co Tipperary overnight.

A group of men – understood to be members of a Dublin gang – broke into a house in Killenaule at around 3 o’clock this morning.

They took money and jewellery – as well the family’s Kia jeep – before making their getaway.

A businessman and his wife and three children – aged under eight – are said to be traumatised after the incident.

Five of the suspects were arrested near Naas in Co Kildare – while two others were detained at Newland’s Cross in Dublin – following a high speed chase.
