60 New Jobs For Clare With Expansion Of Vitalograph And Wild Irish Seadweed

60 new jobs are being created by companies in Ennis and Quilty.

Global medical supply company Vitalograph is to announce 50 new jobs at the opening new software centre on the Gort Road in the town, following a 12 million euro investment.

While Wild Irish Seaweed in Quilty is hiring ten new staff following another expansion there.

Vitalograph already employs 100 people at it’s base in the Gort Road Industrial Estate, where its been operating out of since 1974.

The company has been designing, developing and manufacturing respiratory and cardiology devices for the healthcare sector for over 50 years.

Now, following a 12 million euro investment, it’s opening a new software centre, which will lead to the creation of 50 new jobs.

The centre is being officially opened today by Junior Minister Pat Breen today.

General Manager at Vitalograph Ireland, Frank Keane, says they’ll be filling the positions over the next six months.

Meanwhile, 10 new positions are being created at the Quilty-based Wild Irish Seaweed.

The firm is to double its production with a €200,000 investment and will bring its total workforce up to 23.
