57 Patients On Trolleys At UHL

Nurses say the the level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital has dipped marginally today.
But University Hospital Limerick remains one of the most overcrowded in the country, with 57 patients on trolleys this morning, 41 of those in the emergency department.
Its 3 less than yesterday’s peak and comes on a day when 525 patients have been left waiting for beds at hospitals across the country.
