54 Patients On Trolleys At UHL As The Week Begins

The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is beginning to climb once again as the week begins.

The latest INMO figures show 54 patients were waiting on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 39 of those in the emergency department.

The overall figures is up from 41 last Friday, but is down on last week’s peak of 61 and a record 81 a fortnight ago.
