51 Patients Waiting For Beds In UHL As Overcrowding Continues

Nurses say 51 people were left waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick today.

According to the INMO’s latest trolley watch statistics, the level of overcrowding is continuing to worsen at the region’s main hospital this week, with the Dooradoyle facility the most overcrowded in the country again today.

29 patients were waiting on admission in the new emergency department this morning, with a further 22 accomodated in overflow areas of wards.
