A further 500 people in Clare have now closed their claims for the pandemic unemployment support payment.
Figures from the Department of Social Protection show that from next week, the number of Clare people claiming support under the scheme will have now dropped by 2,300 since the middle of May.
Nationally, over 515,000 people will be paid under the scheme this week.
